Job Responsibilities:
∎ Performs risk analysis to identify internal and external threats.
∎ Provides security systems technology support with regards to the installation and maintenance of security technologies and tools.
∎ Maintains corporate security procedures and develops and provides regular security training.
∎ Plans, coordinates, and conducts investigations of alleged and suspected computer crimes.
∎ Fosters security vendor relationships to ensure effective and efficient supplier performance results.
∎ Working with the following security segments.
∎ Application Security
∎ Data Security
∎ Database and Infrastructure Security
∎ End Point Security
∎ Network Security
∎ Work with multiple security vendor like Imperva, SonicWall, Sophos, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc
∎ Perform security assessments of applications and infrastructure.
∎ Define, manage, and monitor security devices, including procedures for detecting, reporting, and responding to computer security incidents.
∎ Will work directly with network and server security, network security, performing setup, enhancement, and maintenance tasks.
∎ Will monitor access logs and build database security procedures, set up anti-virus programs at workstations, develop policies for email security, and perform periodic data audits and backups.
∎ Prepare reports and action plans if security breach occurs.
∎ Organize and conduct tests and "ethical hacks" of the existing security architecture.
∎ Reviewing vulnerability assessment, security scan, and penetration test results and relating findings to business risk
∎ Managing security activities, high-level requirements, and security deliverables - including following up with stakeholders.
∎ Reviewing project plans and business impact assessments for security quality
∎ Responsible for the total end user hardware, software support for various computer hardware architectures, and tracking user account maintenance.
∎ Responsible for maintenance of systems security in Windows workstation and Windows Server, Linux, UNIX, and VMWare operating systems and associated software packages.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have 3+ years of experience in Specialist positions within the cybersecurity industry.
∎ Proactive, accountable, self-directed, humble and solution oriented.
∎ Prior experience in security design and analysis; defense in depth analysis; configuring and managing security devices, incident handling & response; troubleshooting security related issues.
∎ CompTIA Security+ Certified
∎ CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)
∎ EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA)
∎ CEH: Certified Ethical Hacker
∎ Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
∎ Certified information systems security professional (CISSP)
∎ GSEC / GCIH / GCIA: GIAC Security Certification
