Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Officer to oversee and manage the organization’s IT infrastructure and network operations. The IT Officer will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and optimizing network systems including routing and switching, server administration (Windows and Linux environments), and overall IT system performance.

The role also requires hands-on expertise in Radio Frequency (RF) equipment, including frequency bands, antennas, RF cables, GSM, and satellite network systems. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, security, and reliability of IT and communication systems while providing technical support and implementing infrastructure improvements as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Key responsibilities include network monitoring, troubleshooting connectivity issues, server maintenance, system upgrades, RF equipment configuration, and ensuring compliance with IT policies and industry standards. The IT Officer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational needs and maintain seamless communication systems across the organization.

Perform advanced configurations of:

• Network Infrastructure:
  Advanced configuration of routers, Layer 2/Layer 3 switches, VLANs, trunking, inter-VLAN routing, static and dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), NAT, QoS, and network segmentation to ensure optimal performance and security.

• Windows & Linux Servers:
  Deployment and administration of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file and print services, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), Linux services (SSH, Apache/Nginx, Samba), and server hardening practices.

• Wireless & RF Systems:
  Advanced setup and alignment of RF equipment including antennas, microwave links, frequency planning, spectrum analysis, signal strength optimization, and interference mitigation.

• GSM & Satellite Communication Systems:
  Configuration and optimization of GSM gateways, satellite modems, VSAT systems, bandwidth management, and link performance monitoring.

• Network Monitoring & Management Tools:
  Implementation and configuration of monitoring systems (e.g., SNMP-based tools, NetFlow analyzers), logging systems, backup solutions, and performance analysis platforms.
