Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters of Science (MSc)/ B.Sc in Computer Science from a reputed University with no third division in academic records.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create/update reports as per Bangladesh Bank’s requirements. (Daily, Monthly, Quarterly)
∎ Recommends solutions and follows standards on database physical structure, functional capabilities, security & backups.
∎ Responsible for performing query optimization, and database design optimization in addition to aiding/reviewing/feedback to stakeholders in writing complex queries, stored procedures/functions, views, and DDL/DML script.
∎ Monitor the performance of database clusters and proactively identify scaling needs.
∎ Expert on SQL and DB2 database queries
∎ IBM AS400 Administrations
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 14 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 4/5 years of working experience in MIS reporting, DBA, and development.
∎ Must have working experience in Administration of MS SQL, DB2, and My SQL.
∎ Must have a working knowledge of AS400 or IBM i Series.
∎ Must have a financial organization working knowledge will be added advantages.
∎ Technical Problem-Solving Skills
∎ Minimum 5+ years of experience in database design, development, and performance optimization as a Senior Database Engineer, with at least 3 years of experience working with sophisticated IT projects/initiatives in an agile methodology framework.
∎ Knowledge and Practical experience in MS SQL Server Database
∎ Database installation, configuration, backup
∎ Database design experience, table design, E/R diagram,
∎ Advanced SQL skills including DML, DDL, DCL
∎ Writing advance query, sub-query joins, using analytic functions.
∎ Advance skill in T-SQL (of MS SQL SERVER) in writing stored procedures, functions, triggers
∎ Experience in transaction commit, rollback, exception handling, performance tuning
∎ Experience using temporary tables, global variables, etc.
∎ Experience in writing API to get/send data from/to database
∎ Java and/or .net skill
∎ Vendor Certification on MS SQL and .Net application would be added advantages.
