Job Context:
∎ Health and Education for All (HAEFA) is an international leader in providing healthcare to the underserved and most vulnerable populations in Bangladesh, including coastal and hard-to-reach regions, FDMN Camps, urban, semi-urban, and rural areas. HAEFA`s compassionate medical team members use its technological innovations, a solar-powered electronic health record (EHR) system known as NIROG, for the management of chronic diseases and a paperless see-and-treat cervical cancer screening and treatment programs.
∎ HAEFA is looking for an IT Assistant, a dynamic professional ready to accept the challenges of humanitarian work for its Noakhali health programs. The IT Assistant should be self-motivated, proactive, willing to learn new strategies and program procedures, and able to generate reports and swiftly handle donors, project stakeholders, and local government/International delegates. Empathy for people from disadvantaged and underprivileged backgrounds is considered a key quality at HAEFA.

∎ Job Location: Chatkhil, Sonaimuri, Begumganj, Companyganj, Kabirhat UHC of Noakhali, Bangladesh
∎ Employment type: Full-time (3 months Probationary Period)
∎ Duration of Contract: Initially 6 months (renewable)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist to Installation, Reinstallation, Troubleshooting and Up-gradation of Operating Systems of software In-House and stakeholder's applications.
∎ Advance Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in the Bangladesh Health Sector.
∎ Assist to maintain the Organization's LAN. This includes installation, configuring & maintenance of Active Directory, mail server, file server, proxy server, web server etc.
∎ Assist in performing daily back up and other IT- related routine tasks of the organization.
∎ Promptly respond to the troubleshooting requests of users.
∎ Update organization's website; Communicate with End-user.
∎ Assist to Network administration and resolving all IT support issues.
∎ Assist to backup data for the database system Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
∎ Perform other IT - related tasks as assigned by the IT Manager time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 22 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 1 to 3 years' experience in relevant field
∎ Candidate having experience in developing website will be preferred;
∎ Candidate must be in hardworking and dedicated with fitness to work long hours;
∎ Candidate should be a quick learner.
∎ Good written and oral communication skills in English
