Responsibilities & Context:
Job Summary:
The Intern - SCM will support the smooth operation of the company's end-to-end supply chain, from procurement to logistics and inventory planning. This role is ideal for a student seeking hands-on experience in optimizing processes and managing material flow.
Job Responsibility:
- Assist in inventory analysis and demand forecasting by compiling and processing data.
- Support the procurement process, including drafting purchase orders (POs) and tracking order confirmations.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing updates on logistics and delivery schedules.
- Help maintain and update the supplier database and performance records.
- Participate in physical inventory counts and reconciliation activities.
- Assist with data entry and generation of supply chain performance reports.
- Create Dashboard for supply chain, participate in vendor negotiation process and contract drafting
