Job Context:
∎ Inclusive livelihood opportunity for Covid-19 affected households in three districts of Bangladesh is a one-year project under Muslim Aid UK, Bangladesh Field Office (MABFO) which aims to equip its technical and vocational institutes with more resources to train community members and help them gain the skill they would require getting into a job. The development of skills can contribute to structural transformation and economic growth by enhancing employability and labor productivity of the community during Covid-19 situation. Investment in a high-quality workforce can create a virtuous cycle, where relevant and quality skills enable productivity growth which result in more and better jobs for the current workforce and more public and private investment in the non-traditional skills. This project will facilitate Muslim Aid Institute of Technology (MAIT) in Jashore, Rangpur, Mirpur and Mohammdpur under MABFO to increase the employability and productivity for both the current and future workforce.
∎ This 12 months project will take the initiative to increase livelihood opportunities for youth and families across 3 districts in Bangladesh, by supporting MAIT in Jashore/Rangpur/Mirpur/Mohammadpur through updating their facilities, delivering 12 livelihood training modules, alongside additional business materials for selected trades, conducting a job fair, supporting beneficiaries with covid-19 materials, conducting a covid-19 impact study on the TVET sector, and providing cash grant to selected families.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Training students to carry out investigations and analysis to gain full knowledge of business processes and practices of an organization, how to utilize the data obtained from a business survey to create systems and software solutions for an organization and also how to identify errors or flaws in business/system methods to suggest action plans for improvement.
∎ Training students on the new ways to improve and deliver value to business clientele.
∎ Training students to use data and process modelling techniques to create distinct system specifications for the design and development of system software.
∎ Involves preparing training manuals and overseeing orientation of end users.
∎ Provide training on how to ensure good programming is available throughout the process of business development for an organization.
∎ Provide training on conducting system test plans to ensure the quality and integrity of a system and also how to maintain contact with users to obtain feedback and assist with the resolution of issues.
∎ Training students on mandatory soft skills
∎ Utilize innovative classroom techniques and methodologies that involve students in challenging learning opportunities;
∎ Prepares class sessions and assignments to help students grasp course content and how it integrates with overall student learning outcomes for the course
∎ Observe and evaluate student performance in meeting course objectives and learning outcomes through assignments, projects, discussions, or examinations; provide feedback in a timely manner on student progress
∎ Maintain records of enrolment and attendance, assessments and grades, submit class rosters and grade sheets by the deadlines established by the MAIT
∎ Meet with the Principal as needed to discuss all aspects of the course including student progress and curriculum development (may be required to provide input into program development)
∎ Undertake monitoring and assessment of student's course work, project work, and examinations, and maintain up-to-date and accurate records of their progress and achievement.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience teaching in ICT based Entrepreneurship
∎ Good Knowledge of troubleshooting and IT.
∎ Good Knowledge in instructional methods and training techniques
∎ Good working knowledge of computers and the ability to navigate within a variety of software packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
∎ Ability to respond to the needs of learners from a variety of educational backgrounds in a multicultural environment.
∎ Ability to deliver course outcomes and content through a variety of teaching/learning styles.

Salary: Tk. 25000 (Monthly)
