Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc / M.Sc in CSE/SE/IIT/IT/ EEE from a top ranking local or foreign university with excellent results
∎ Minimum CGPA must be 3:00 out of 4.00 in undergraduate level
∎ No 3rd division/class equivalent in any academic level
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support and guide engineers to develop quality ideas from scratch, and help them prepare relevant documentations for filing patents
∎ Analyze large amounts of complex technical information (prior art study) from patent databases/tech based magazines/journals/news-sites, and report findings in an accurate and relevant manner
∎ Understand novelty and non-obviousness assessment of an invention and provide appropriate feedback to inventors to improve patentability
∎ Review ideas in the internal Group-wise pre-screening sessions and report to superiors
∎ Prepare periodic "Technology Survey Reports"
∎ Provide Knowledge Sharing Sessions on different technologies in line with Samsung
∎ Provide support for Technology workshop, contests, and events
∎ Any other task assigned by superiors
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Technical writing, research publications & exposure in tech innovation activities/tasks will be given preference
∎ Knowledge on smartphone, tablets, TVs, cameras and other devices in line with Samsung's area of interest
∎ Strong, persistent & focused mindset to search for technological information from every corner of the internet
∎ Passion for technology innovation. Keep abreast of the latest technology trends, inventions and industry
∎ Excellent writing skill, quality report writing ability
∎ Excellent communication and presentation skills
∎ Dynamic and multi-tasking ability and handle immense pressure
∎ Strong people management skills; incumbent should be able to tactfully handle high level stakeholders
∎ History of affiliation with tech based regulatory bodies/collaborative forums/local chapters of international tech based organizations will be given preference
