∎ Solid knowledge and understanding of Windows 7, Windows Server 28 and MS Office 27/MS Office 21 (including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
∎ Having skills and knowledge in developing and maintenance website and database system.
∎ Demonstrated experience troubleshooting network issues. Knowledge of Symantec Backup Exec is considered an asset.
∎ Proven capacity to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and set priorities.
∎ High level of personal and professional integrity, motivation to perform at one’s best.
∎ Must be fluent in English.
∎ Ability and willingness to travel periodically throughout Bangladesh required.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supports the use and maintenance of technology required for day-to-day operational functions of project staff and implementation. This includes first level of support Windows PCs and Windows servers and maintaining network infrastructure ISP, router, (wireless and hard-wired internet) Ethernet switch and PBX phones, maintaining spare parts and hardware repairs and restoration.
∎ Sets up, maintains, and supports the IT infrastructure and equipment for the project office, and support individuals who are based remotely.
∎ Ensures Windows and other software (e.g., QuickBooks for finance staff) is maintained and properly usable.
∎ Ensures information is securely backed up and maintained in accordance with RTI policies and procedures.
∎ Maintains spare parts and hardware repairs and restoration.
∎ In cooperation with Operations staff, responsible for annual inventory of office and IT equipment

∎ Responsibilities
∎ RTI is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Assistant in Bangladesh. The IT Assistant will be responsible for IT systems. He/She ensures that all project computers, local area networks, printers, faxes, copiers, phones, and systems are virus-free and in proper working order. This position will report directly to the Senior Operations Manager and work in close coordination with the operations team, program team, and others as needed.
∎ Position is contingent upon award and funding.
