∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in IPE
∎ Skills Required: Planning, Business/ Product Development, Lean Management, Production, Production Management (Finishing), Textile Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Apparel, Knowledge of both Knit and Woven garment manufacturing, Textile Engineering
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyze the bulletin and prepare Layouts, identify critical operation and special machines/attachment
∎ Conducting capacity study, method study, production study, Time Study, line balancing etc.
∎ Daily manpower balancing, target setting & achievement monitoring.
∎ Identify and minimize the bottle neck areas, co-ordinate with seniors and line managers for solving issues;
∎ Balance the line to ensure minimum work in progress (WIP)
∎ Review production schedules, enginespecifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
∎ Monitor workers' performance; Operator's skill test & skill matrix preparation
∎ Hourly Individual Target/production monitoring and take necessary action
∎ Lost time recording(NPT), Efficiency Calculation, Problem Study, Develop Productivity
∎ Ensure DHU (Defects per Hundred Unit)
∎ Non-productive time calculation.
∎ Input in-hand, WIP, change over time monitoring
∎ Closely work with the production floor/ line management
∎ Communicate with management and user personnel to develop production and design standards
∎ Report to the superiors.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 3-6 years experience in Apparel industry.
∎ Candidate should have sound production knowledge such as sampling, costing, QC, sourcing, order taking/processing and so on.
∎ In essence, he should have the ability to run a medium scale apparel factory independently.
Salary: Negotiable
