Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Master’s Degree in relevant field from any reputed University
∎ Candidates who have Masters in Islamic Studies / Kamil/Daura Hadith/Ifta will get preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Be responsible for leading the Islamic Finance Wing and to achieve BS & PL target
∎ Be responsible to build up a full-fledged Islamic Finance wing with proper recruitment of qualified resources and ensure proper standard operating process is in place to serve the clients
∎ Liaison with Shariah Supervisory Committee to implement Islamic Banking smoothly as per the guidelines of Bangladesh
∎ Be responsible for developing, maintaining and strengthening relationships with Islamic banks, Commercial banks, NBFIs for treasury and counter party limits
∎ Be able to promote and market the Islamic Finance products and services to segment of clients
∎ Ensure building of high-quality asset portfolio and deposit book with targeted client and bucket
∎ Develop and support diverse strengthening activities for Islamic Finance, including forums, focus on compliance and internal audit.
∎ Prepare reports, dashboards and presentation for top Management, Shariah Supervisory Committee and Board of Directors
∎ Maintain a high quality of training activities and develop an effective methodology for training consistent with best international practices
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ 10 years’ experience in Islamic Finance/Islamic Banking with at least 2 years’ experience to work as In-charge or deputy In-charge of Islamic Finance Wing
∎ Age must not exceed 40 years at the time of application
∎ Excellent interpersonal, communication and selling skills
∎ Quick learner and ability to accept changes
∎ Sound knowledge in MS Office
