Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate in Veterinary/Animal Husbandry/Fisheries/Agriculture/Business Management/Others with at least 2-3 years' experience.

Job Context:
∎ The IGA Officer will support to set up Monitoring and training, the cash or in-kind support to targeted bnf`s for Income Generating activities, ensuring that Solidarités International technical recommendations and procedures are followed.
∎ S/he ensures that all activities are implemented and carried out to a high standard and, if necessary, proposes adjustment or improvements to guarantee a high standard.
∎ Affectation: Teknaf, Bangladesh
∎ Possible Start of the activities: 1st of November, 2019

∎ Line Manager: IGA Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:
∎ ACTIVITY RELEVANCE, QUALITY AND CREATION:
∎ Participate for the IGA identification and preparation with possible risk management
∎ Collect information and assist in the quality analysis of the activities to be carried out
∎ Ensure that the activities for which s/he is responsible reach the required results
∎ IMPLEMENTATION AND OPERATIONAL MONITORING:
∎ Implement activities in accordance with Solidarités International technical requirements and financial donor criteria
∎ Plan the activities for which S/he is responsible, in accordance with the deadlines and - --- technical specificities that have been set
∎ Use management, monitoring and evaluation tools in the activities
∎ Organize community consultancy meetings, conduct HHs assessments, Market assessments and assist MEAL team for CRM issues.
∎ Organize technical trainings with collaboration of line manager.
∎ Ensure regular monitoring & follow up activities with the beneficiaries.
∎ Assist in creating groups/committees, training and monitoring them (if needed)
∎ Provide necessary technical support to the selected beneficiaries.
∎ Adhere to, measure and monitor activity and result indicators
∎ Pre-empt any difficulties linked to carrying out the activities and facilitate problem solving
∎ REPORTING / COMMUNICATION:
∎ Pass on to the Line Manager any information on the security context, or any event that may have potential consequences on Solidarités International activities and team security
∎ Write up reports on the progress of activities for which s/he is responsible-follow up, information for case study & success story etc.
∎ On request, participate in meetings and workshops related to his/her field of activity and write up minutes for them, if necessary
∎ Fill out and update the activity sheet provided in the Tool box
∎ Archive his/her monitoring tools and files in the Solidarités International office, where they can be accessed by the line manager
∎ Facilitate communication between Solidarités International and communities, authorities, beneficiaries and other parties in the area
∎ Present to the population and local authorities the nature of field operations
∎ Remain in touch with the population and local authorities to understand needs, complaints, and major events that may have an impact on the activities of Solidarités International.
∎ Communicate with other team members on activity results.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 3/2 years working experience in NGO/INGO/Other organization at same level
∎ Good level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, Excel and Powerpoint)
∎ Language proficiency : English and Bengali skills are required for writing, typing and speaking. Ability to speak the Chittagonian dialect is an added value
∎ Working experience with local community and local government.

Salary:
∎ Monthly Salary: 45,700 BDT
