Job Context:
∎ The Danish Refugee Council (DRC), one of the world`s leading NGOs, with a focus on responding to displacement, have been registered in Bangladesh since 2013. In 2017, in response to the Rohingya influx, DRC launched an integrated program of support to the government in site management, shelter/NFI and protection. In 2018 and 2019 DRC implemented aid projects in support of the host communities most affected by the influx of refugees. As a key part of this, DRC opened a main office in Cox`s Bazar, and a support/liaison office in Dhaka.
∎ POSITION PROFILE
∎ Overall purpose of the role: Provides administrative or technical Human Resources support as per DRC, donor and local law regulations and procedures.

∎ Start date: As soon as possible
∎ Duty station: Cox`s Bazar, Bangladesh.

∎ HR & Admin Manager
∎ All staff

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in the recruitment of national positions; this includes but not limited to: job advert, invitation to written test/ interview, checking references, offering the position, rejection emails to the unsuccessful candidates.
∎ Maintain and regularly update the recruitment tracker for national positions and share it with HR Manager and Specialist on a monthly basis.
∎ Ensure all recruitment records for the national positions are properly maintained and filed.
∎ Ensure that all staff personnel records are properly maintained and regularly update the personnel file following the relevant checklist.
∎ Assist in organizing new staff induction and ensure their personnel file is in place with proper documentation.
∎ Regularly update all staff information in HR database and update the statistics to HR Manager.
∎ Assist in updating staff information in ERP i.e., staff promotion, transfer, leave & report lines etc.
∎ Assist in staff exit process and ensure all documents of separated staff in the file.
∎ Assist in updating staff profile information in Payroll system and crosscheck with personnel records.
∎ Provide administrative assistance in the staff development plan and staff medical insurance
∎ Responsible for ensuring the following are accurate, complete and up to date: - personnel files, administration of health insurance scheme, social security, TIN.
∎ Assist in updating donor personnel list.
∎ Adhere to and promote DRC policies and Code of Conduct.
∎ Any other duties relating to the nature of the job as requested by the Manager.
∎ Key Deliverables:
∎ Filing of HR required documents.
∎ Error free staff data in ERP.
∎ Support to HR administrative areas.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Essential:
∎ A minimum of 1 years' experience in Human Resources Department.
∎ Good hands on experience at Microsoft Programmes (E.g. Excel and Word)
∎ Practical experience to handle payroll & ERP system.
∎ Cultural sensitivity and ability to work in a cross-cultural environment.
∎ Basic understanding of local labor law.
∎ Understanding of Cox's Bazar context.
∎ Desirable: Experience with NGO and INGO
