Job Context:
∎ A Reputed Bangladeshi development agency (NGO) is looking for a competent candidate for hiring of their Human Resources Department at Mid/Upper Mid-level position to look after their Social Enterprises and Development Programmes (NGO).
∎ The Human Resources Manager initiates and leads Human Resources policies and practices that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, productivity, goal attainment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
∎ In an effort to enhance morale and productivity, limit job turnover, and help organizations increase performance and improve results, the HR Manager also help their organization to effectively use employee skills, provide training and development opportunities to improve those skills, and increase employees` satisfaction with their jobs and working conditions. The HR Manager coordinates implementation of services, policies, and programs through Human Resources staff; reports to the Chief Operating Officer and serves on the executive management team; and assists and advises organizational managers about Human Resources issues.
∎ The HR Manager will accelerate the recruitment and all kinds of staff transitions and assist other Managers with HR services. S/he ensures that all HR actions follows proper procedures and system, s/he also recommends for change and modification in HR policy and procedures to make HR services more efficient and effective. S/he is responsible for developing staffing processes that will enable the New Co workforce to become truly diverse and gender-balanced.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
∎ Participate in the development and implementation of Human resources Development and Management plans, aligned with the Strategic Plans of the organization.
∎ Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations.
∎ Plan, organize, direct, control or coordinate the personnel, training, or labor relations activities of an organization.
∎ Formulate Human Resources policies and procedures, periodic review and update all these in consultation with Senior Management, in alignment with organizational objectives and country legislative process and reflecting good HR practices.
∎ Oversee that all the Managers monitor regularly and ensure that the uniform HR policies are followed and adhered to by the users and clients across the organization.
∎ Establishes and leads the standard recruitment and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforce.
∎ Expand in-side organization’s capacity to “head-hunt” when potential candidates are not available through normal procedure.
∎ Oversee the hiring and post-hiring processes, including discussions on salary and benefits and checking the documentation/recruitment files.
∎ Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
∎ Leads the implementation of the performance management system that includes performance development plans and employee development programs.
∎ Establishes employee training system that addresses company training needs including training needs assessment, new employee orientation, management development and the measurement of training impact.
∎ Generate new ideas on staff development, solicit ideas from the users and ensure the improved mechanism for staff development.
∎ Determines and recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
∎ Monitors the implementation of a performance improvement process with non-performing employees.
∎ To trouble shoot the hazards inside and outside the organization as per labour law and other laws and regulation of the Land,
∎ All payroll, Provident Fund, Gratuity and other employee welfare funds to be implemented effectively.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least five years’ experience in HR management with any Development Agency or Corporate House.
∎ Female candidates are encouraged to application for the position.
∎ Excellent communication skill, both written and verbal in English and Bangla.
∎ Knowledge of Bangladeshi Labor Law and employment “market”.
∎ Good in working with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point.
∎ Demonstrated ability to analyze and use HR information and generate HR reports/documents.
∎ Leading with vision and values.
