∎ The Kamrunnesa Khatun Foundation (KKF) is an independent nonprofit charity, committed to bringing about better lives for the disadvantaged people in Bangladesh. KKF engages with initiatives marginalized and underprivileged population to bring them into mainstream development as active participation is a pre-requisite to their sustainable development. KKF works with a vision for change—a vision to bring qualitative changes in the lives of the underprivileged, especially through supporting the access to quality education, nutritious food, safe water, shelter and sanitation for the underprivileged children all over Bangladesh. KKF works to bridge the gaps and empowers the educated unemployed youth, women and marginalized farmers to participate in income generating activities and establish them as independent, socially active, self-employed and successful entrepreneurs. KKF also makes pure, unadulterated and quality food available to the urban population for a healthier living.
∎ We are now looking for the self-motivated, hardworking and target oriented potential candidates for the above position who have multi-tasking ability to handle the operation of an online based small and cottage industry project.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for the entire project operation, Shwapner Hut with the involvement of the children of shelter house;
∎ Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures;
∎ Take the lead of designing the product and work with innovative ideas;
∎ To be capable to prepare material resource planning, sourcing of vendors, dealing and negotiation of vendors to be cost effective;
∎ Fund/Budget requisition for the project, cash management, adjustment, deposit cash after sales & regular close work with Finance & Accounts;
∎ To guide and train the staffs and children of the shelter house who are involved in the project;
∎ Product pricing finalization following the guidelines of the management;
∎ Work closely with the Knowledge management to prepare the content and post the content to social media and website. Proactively approach when it is necessary to boost up the sales;
∎ Receive the order from the various sources, ensure on time delivery and payment;
∎ To be innovative to generate idea of new products development, packaging design & artwork as per guideline.
∎ To track competitors' movement and to formulate plan & policies to alleviate threats of the businesses plus to develop new and potential market channels to make the business horizon bigger.
∎ To be well conversant with current E-commerce business.
∎ Any task assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 23 to 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Age and experience limit may be relaxed for the outstanding candidates.
∎ Self-motivated, innovative and capable to lead.
∎ Should be conversant in using computer e.g. MS Office, email etc.
∎ Fluent in communication both in English & Bengali.
