∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc), Master of Science (MSc)
∎ Experienced candidates in educational institutes and with B.Ed will be preferred.
∎ Age and experience limits may be relaxed for outstanding candidates.
∎ Self-motivated, innovative and capable of leading.
∎ Have the mentality to work for distressed children
∎ Minimum three days a week for the night shift
∎ Should be conversant in using a computer e.g. MS Office, email, etc.
∎ Fluent in communication both in English & Bengali.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Undertake teaching and assisted learning of the children, as well as responsibilities about care and counseling of the children as required.
∎ Overall care of the shelter house children during day and night as per roster,
∎ Collecting distressed children, counseling when necessary, nurturing and any other work given by the supervisor and senior management.
∎ Comprehensive knowledge in education perspectives, teaching-learning methodologies, theory & practices, pedagogies, child psychology, feedback & motivation, types of assessment, rules and policies, assessment tools, etc. for the children of non-formal education.
∎ To apply the approaches and policies of learning to the children considering their socioeconomic status.
∎ To arrange and coordinate the necessary training and continuous supervision for the teachers and mentors of the program and report to related departments accordingly.
∎ Any other responsibilities as may be assigned by management.

∎ We are now looking for self-motivated, hardworking and target-oriented potential candidates for the above position who have multi-tasking ability to take the responsibility of the Residential Teacher of the shelter house program.
