Job Responsibilities:
∎ Policy, Framework and strategic objectives:
∎ Developing and implementing human resources policies.
∎ Develop corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, health and safety etc.
∎ Act to support the human factor in the company by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development etc.
∎ Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards
∎ Anticipate and resolve litigation risks
∎ Revise company policies
∎ Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides
∎ Support strategic objectives.
∎
∎ Recruitment and Retention:
∎ Develop and oversee all HR initiatives, recruitment process, systems and tactics
∎ Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance
∎ Identifying staffing needs and creating job descriptions.
∎ Review job advertisements prior to posting, screen CVs, conduct telephone screenings, coordinate interview teams, participate in interviewing candidates and ensure that documentation is collected and recorded/filed.
∎ Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
∎ Hiring staff and negotiating employment agreements.
∎ Oversee all labor engagement for the Factory, Depot & Head office and manage the new hire orientation and exit process.

∎ Compliance and Record Keeping:
∎ Ensuring compliance with government laws and regulations
∎ Organize and maintain personnel records
∎ Annually review the Personnel Handbook recommending amendments needed due to changes in local conditions or labor laws.
∎ Manage timesheets for office, ensuring timely submission, approval, accuracy, and filing.
∎ Report to senior management by analyzing data and using HR metrics
∎
∎ Compensation and Benefits:
∎ Monitor compensation - ensuring internal equity & compliance and benefits.
∎ Facilitate job analysis and update job descriptions.
∎ Handling employee benefits.
∎
∎ Payroll and Budget:
∎ Coordinate with Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly Payroll.
∎ Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
∎ Advise management on appropriate staffing levels and assist in budget preparation.
∎ Review employee final payments for accuracy and compliance with labour laws.
∎
∎ Administration:
∎ Ensure smooth running of all administrative functions in the country office.
∎ Supervise all travel and hotel arrangements for staff and visitors, including visas and work permits as applicable.
∎ Update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave)
∎ Supervise the work of HR personnel and provide guidance
∎ Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)
∎ Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms
∎ Managing staff wellness and performance reviews
∎
∎ Training and Development and Performance Maintenance:
∎ Evaluate the need for employee training and development and make recommendations.
∎ Designing and directing training programs.
∎ Oversee the coordination and implementation of annual performance reviews.
∎
∎ Employee Relations:
∎ Work with senior management to resolve employee relations issues pragmatically.
∎ Investigate employee relations issues & work to ensure human resources related decisions are consistent and fair.
∎ Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and communicate with labor unions
∎ Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required
∎ Motivating and supporting current staff
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years

∎ Must be familiar with Bangladesh laws and regulations governing Human Resources.
∎ Ability to work with managers to assess complex issues pragmatically.
∎ Ability to define problems, establish facts, analyze situations and make decisions.
∎ Excellent written and verbal English and local language skills.
∎ Ability to interact with and lead employees at various levels.
∎ Strong understanding of confidentiality as it relates to Human Resources.
∎ Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
