Responsibilities & Context:

We are looking for an experienced, organized, and hands-on HR Manager to lead the Human Resources function for our growing call center operation. The ideal candidate should have strong experience managing employees in a fast-paced BPO, call center, sales, or service environment and must be comfortable working the night shift.

This is not a purely administrative HR position. The HR Manager will be expected to actively manage recruitment, attendance, employee relations, performance management, disciplinary procedures, HR documentation, retention, and overall workplace culture.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the complete employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, performance management, disciplinary action, promotion, and separation.

  • Lead recruitment initiatives for call center agents, sales representatives, team leaders, QA personnel, and other operational positions.

  • Develop and maintain a strong recruitment pipeline to support ongoing hiring requirements and business growth.

  • Conduct interviews, coordinate assessments, verify candidate information, and provide hiring recommendations.

  • Prepare and maintain offer letters, appointment letters, employment contracts, confirmation letters, warning letters, show-cause notices, termination documentation, and other HR correspondence.

  • Manage employee attendance, lateness, absenteeism, leave, shift adherence, and attendance-related disciplinary matters.

  • Monitor employee turnover and identify the causes of resignation, absenteeism, poor performance, and employee dissatisfaction.

  • Conduct exit interviews and provide management with actionable retention recommendations.

  • Handle employee grievances, disputes, complaints, and workplace concerns professionally and confidentially.

  • Ensure company policies and disciplinary procedures are applied consistently across all departments.

  • Coordinate employee performance improvement plans and corrective-action procedures with Operations and Team Leaders.

  • Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, attendance records, disciplinary records, and HR databases.

  • Assist management with salary reviews, promotions, incentives, attendance bonuses, employee recognition, and compensation-related matters.

  • Ensure payroll-related employee information, attendance adjustments, deductions, bonuses, and other HR inputs are submitted accurately and on time.

  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies, SOPs, employee handbooks, attendance policies, leave policies, and workplace procedures.

  • Conduct employee orientation and ensure new hires clearly understand company policies, performance expectations, attendance requirements, and workplace standards.

  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, team-building activities, and employee events.

  • Work closely with management to maintain a professional, disciplined, positive, and performance-driven workplace culture.

  • Identify potential HR risks before they become larger operational problems.

  • Prepare regular HR reports covering headcount, recruitment, turnover, attendance, disciplinary actions, retention, and other key HR metrics.

  • Ensure HR practices comply with applicable Bangladesh labor laws and company requirements.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee, payroll, disciplinary, and management information.

  • Be physically present and available during the night shift to support employees and management in real time.
