∎ Job Overview
∎ Leading the HR function and administrative aspects in the BCO Country Office. Defines and implements the country office HR strategies in alignment with Globall HR strategies to support effective people management and also manages the administration function for effective implementation of the country strategy.
∎ Based: CBM Global Bangladesh Country Office in Dhaka.
∎ Hours: Full-time.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ (this is summary of the role and not limited to perform)
∎ Strategy, policy and guidelines:
∎ Implement CO HR plans aligned with CBM Global's strategy and guidelines;
∎ Lead the process of updating or review of existing HR Guidelines for CBMG in the country such as recruitment, training and development, talent management, compensation and benefits, conflict management, health, safety & security management, and HR internal communication;
∎ Facilitate and maintain good relationships among employees and ensure that grievances and questions with respect to working conditions, health, safety & security and other change initiatives are resolved in good time;
∎ Proactively promote CBMG's values and culture within the organization;
∎ Carry out external comparison of Compensation and Benefits for Country Office (CO) with tools to do so at country-level;
∎ Training and Development:
∎ Lead the coordination of staff training and development;
∎ Provide managers with methodology and tools to coach them in efficiently managing their teams;
∎ Oversee staff development initiatives (mentoring, coaching and training) and succession planning with relevant line-managers;
∎ Reinforce team-building practices and activities to promote team-work and employee motivation in order to enhance employee productivity;
∎ Consolidate staff development needs and put in place a country training and development plan.
∎ Compliance:
∎ Ensure that Inclusion principles are integrated into CBMG's HR plans, policies and practices;
∎ Ensure adherence to CBMG health, safety & security guidelines by all staff in the region;
∎ Ensure that legal and administrative requirements regarding recruitment and selection, contracts, staff induction and exit interviews, vacation, wage guidelines etc., in the CO are being adhered to;
∎ Carry out periodical trainings and informational sessions for CBMG staff in Bangladesh Country Office on HR best practices and new policies and guidelines to ensure responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities are defined and understood
∎ Administrative processes related to HR:
∎ Ensure on-time delivery of HR services, accuracy of information and legal compliance;
∎ Maintain and disseminate relevant HR data and documentation / reports;
∎ Ensure that performance management process is executed by line managers;
∎ Establish and maintain / update classification of jobs in CBMG (Job categorization)
∎ Support line managers in a holistic recruitment process;
∎ Coordinate the process of orientation of personnel in line with CBMG's departments and CBM Global Office HR policies and guidelines;
∎ Ensure the development and review of job descriptions;
∎ Coordinate regularly with Programme and Finance and Administration departments regarding common issues;
∎ Logistics and administration:
∎ Ensure proper use and maintenance of office equipment and facilities, including vehicles;
∎ Control and maintain updated CBMG's asset register and inventory, in line with Local and CBMG or donor requirements, as applicable;
∎ Facilitate effective and efficient logistics support, including air tickets, hotel accommodation, travel insurance for CBMG staff
∎ Establish agreements with reliable suppliers and service providers who can give best value to CBMG Office in line with CBMG's procurement policy.
∎ Regularly update the list of suppliers for office supplies (kitchen and stationery etc.) in light of the competitive rates in the market.
∎ Lead the process of procurement of any equipment or services in line with the CBMG guidelines and policy
∎ Lead the process of updating or review of existing Operations Guidelines and policies for CBMG in the country
∎ Ensure the office premises upkeep and cleanliness standards are met.
∎ Line manage Administrative Officer and office support staff.
∎ Additional Responsibilities:
∎ Upon instruction by the line-manager, perform additional activities, which either are by their nature related to experience in the field of expertise or evolve from operational requirements.
∎ These may include but are not limited to:
∎ To be available as a potential member of CBM Global Teams of Competence regarding HR matters.
∎ To be a member of the CBMG BCO Health, Safety & Security Management Team
∎ Key outcomes expected from this role:

∎ Essential Requirements
∎ Demonstrate 5-8 years' experience in Generalist Human Resources Management Role being responsible for Recruitment, Onboarding, contracting, payroll, learning and development, internal communications, compensation and benefits, case management (disciplinary, grievance, performance management), developing and implementing local HR policies.
∎ Proven ability to set priorities and meet critical priorities.
∎ Experience in the in the INGO context
∎ 1 year experience of handling administrative / operations
∎ Able to fluently communicate in English
∎ Be able to produce engaging communications.
∎ Demonstrate presentation and facilitation skills to clearly convey objectives to diverse audiences and stakeholders
∎ Ability to consult and partner with colleagues and external partners across various teams and countries
∎ Strong analytical, organizational, facilitation and leadership skills.
∎ Willingness to adhere and commit to CBMG's values, Code of Conduct and Policies
