Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead, train, and mentor a team of housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service and uphold cleanliness standards.
∎ Develop and implement housekeeping procedures, policies, and standards tailored to the unique needs of the resort and restaurant areas.
∎ Create daily cleaning schedules, room assignments, and allocate resources efficiently.
∎ Ensure smooth coordination with other departments to meet guest needs and operational requirements.
∎ Maintain pristine cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and dining spaces.
∎ Respond promptly to guest feedback, requests, and complaints, striving for resolution and guest satisfaction.
∎ Conduct regular inspections of rooms, facilities, and dining areas to uphold hygiene standards and identify maintenance needs.
∎ Implement corrective actions and ensure timely completion of maintenance and repairs.
∎ Uphold health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
∎ Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies, linens, amenities, and cleaning products.
∎ Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely procurement and cost-effective purchasing.
∎ Minimize wastage through effective inventory control measures.
∎ Identify training needs and design ongoing training programs for housekeeping staff, focusing on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and guest interaction skills.
∎ Promote a culture of continuous improvement and skill enhancement.
∎ Create and manage staff schedules, considering occupancy levels and seasonal demands.
∎ Prepare and analyze regular reports on housekeeping activities and guest feedback.
∎ Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, maintenance requests, and inventory usage.
∎ Interact with guests, addressing their inquiries, requests, and concerns, and ensuring a positive and memorable stay.
∎ Assist in the creation and management of the housekeeping department budget, tracking expenses, and making budget recommendations.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Proven managerial experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role in a resort and restaurant setting.
∎ Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
∎ In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safety protocols.
∎ Proficiency in using housekeeping software and Microsoft Office Suite.
∎ Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
∎ Familiarity with environmental sustainability practices and energy conservation initiatives.
