Responsibilities & Context:
∎ List the main duties and responsibilities expected from the Home Mother, such as:
∎ Support and Care: Provide daily support and care for beneficiaries residing at home.
∎ Monitoring: Monitor the well-being of beneficiaries and report any issues to the project team.
∎ Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of beneficiaries' progress and activities.
∎ Coordination: Coordinate with other project staff to ensure seamless operation.
∎ Training: Participate in and sometimes assist in training sessions for beneficiaries.
∎ Compliance: Ensure adherence to project guidelines and standards.
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer, and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 37 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Rights & Governance (R&G) is considered as one of the cross-cutting sectors of DAM dedicated toward the right-based developmental approach. DAM is going to implement the project “Enhancing Protection of Child Sex Trafficking Survivors in Bangladesh Project” in Dhaka, and Jashore district funded by the United States Department of State with the support of Freedom Fund and looking for the following position:
∎ Location: Shelter Home, Jashore and KANAN, Dhaka
∎ Reporting to: Shelter Home Manager and Center Manager
∎ Define the overall purpose of the Home Mother’s role in the project. This might include providing support to beneficiaries, managing household activities related to the project, or other specific objectives.
