If you ……  

• At least 10 year(s) of working experience in garment industry preferably specialized in Woven, Denim and experienced in handling UK, EU, and/or Middle Eastern markets, of which at least 3 years in a similar managerial role.
• Are a good communicator in English verbally and in written.
• Excellent negotiation Skill, mature, responsible, and self-motivated.
• Has good understanding of garment construction, costing, and fabric.
• Inspire confidence and get to the heart of the issue.

We are currently seeking a highly accomplished and experienced professional for the full-time position of Head of Merchandising/Business Unit Head of Merchandising to join our team in Dhaka. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in managing customer relationships within the UK, EU, and/or Middle Eastern markets, coupled with a strong understanding of both woven and denim product categories. 

What you’ll do……   

• Utilize your professional knowledge. Source garment factory, all the activities start from costing up to garment shipment handle independently with all stake holders customer/brands-suppliers-garment factories. 
• Keep abreast of customers’ needs. Well conversant in the industry in domestic & global perspectives. Knowledge in laboratory test of fabrics & garments. 
• Build and enhance business relationship. Develop a strong vendor network for production development and production. Strengthen the long-term business relationship with customers. 
• Manage team and cross functional parties. Closely follow up on critical path with team and solve problems (if arise) in the process. Experience on leading a team of at least 4-5 members would be an added advantage. 
• Communicate effectively. Manage the price negotiation with suppliers, collect market and competitor activities. Accountable for final order negotiation with the vendors.
