Educational Requirements:
∎ Post-Graduation in any discipline preferably commerce/business background with excellent academic record from reputed universities and no third division/class or equivalent CGPA in academic career. Candidates having CA from a reputed university will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintenance of Cash Reserve Requirement and Statutory Liquidity Ratio by ensuring compliance.
∎ Investment in treasury bills, treasury bonds, Bangladesh Bank bills with maintaining liquidity and earn profit.
∎ Explore new investment opportunities and assist management for buying, selling or holding of securities.
∎ Overall Supervision of Maintenance of Foreign exchange Market Operations: Exchange Rate Preparation, Arbitrage activities, Spot Buy/Sell, Corporate Deals, SWAP, Placement, Forward Buy/Sell, TOM Buy/Sell etc.
∎ Dealing with Money Market Operations: Call Money (Lending/Borrowing) Term (Lending/Borrowing), REPO activities (REPO/ Reverse Repo).
∎ Monitor the bank's fund position on daily basis and prepare & present the report to management on regular basis.
∎ Maintenance of Securities Market Operations: Invest the surplus fund in Govt. Treasury Bill/Bond Buy/Sell the Treasury Bill/Bond in the secondary market.
∎ Take the lead role in efficient use & maintenance of bank's capital structure, debt management, bond issuance etc.
∎ Look after the bank's ALM desk in compliance with Bangladesh Bank's guidelines, act as Member Secretary of bank's ALCO, meaningful delivery of asset liability position of the bank to the management with suggestions for improvement.
∎ Keeping effective liaison with the concerned departments of Bangladesh Bank and other regulatory bodies.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 15 years of working experience in any reputed commercial bank with at least 05 years in treasury functions
∎ Well conversant in regulatory requirements, banking rules & regulations, practice and procedures of treasury operations, automated system and allied affairs ensuring compliance.
∎ Good understanding on BASEL accords, Interest Rate Risk, Liquidity Risk, Market Risk, Forex Risk in effective dealing with Treasury functions
∎ Capable of leveraging network with bank treasurers, corporates, financial institutions and fund managers through relationship management,
∎ Leading the treasury team to optimize business objectives
∎ Strong IT knowledge and good command over Microsoft Word, Excel and Power-point.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and very good people dealings with positive attitude.
∎ Age, Experience, and Educational Qualification may be relaxed for really deserving candidates
