Responsibilities & Context:
Lead the CAD department for woven denim top bottom products, ensuring timely delivery of patterns, markers, and technical files.
Review and approve base patterns and graded patterns to ensure accurate fit, construction, and production feasibility.
Ensure optimum marker efficiency and minimal fabric wastage for all styles.
Supervise and guide CAD pattern makers and operators across multiple lines.
Coordinate with R&D, merchandising, sample room, production, and quality teams for smooth workflow from development to bulk production.
Manage pattern correction based on sample fitting feedback and buyer comments.
Handle the setup and maintenance of the CAD system (Gerber/Optitex) including licensing, updates, and troubleshooting.
Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) for CAD processes.
Analyze fabric consumption reports and suggest process improvements.
Provide regular reports on CAD efficiency, fabric utilization, and team performance.
Conduct regular training and development of CAD operators and pattern makers on software upgrades and pattern efficiency.
