- Age At least 35 years
Must have strong knowledge of home appliance technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in 2D/3D design software and its application in product development is required.
Must be familiar with current industry trends, innovative materials, and modern design technologies.
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and experience in manufacturing or R&D will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities & Context:
Lead R&D initiatives focused on product design, performance optimization, cost reduction, and quality enhancement for home appliance products.
Develop and trial new materials, components, manufacturing techniques, and technologies to improve product durability, efficiency, and user satisfaction.
Collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, design, and sourcing teams to integrate new innovations into mass production seamlessly.
Conduct thorough root cause analysis of product defects or failures and implement long-term corrective solutions through structured R&D.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of all product trials, lab test results, technical validations, and process improvements.
Stay current with global trends, innovative technologies, and compliance standards relevant to electronics, home appliances, and sustainability.
Mentor and train R&D engineers and technical staff, fostering a high-performance innovation culture and technical excellence across the team.
