∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Ability to Communacate Effectively, ability to work as a team, All preproduction Inhouse testing Quality Control all related, at least 15 years of experience in garments, Garment production

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure that the Technician evaluate samples that are made to follow tech pack & spec requirements.
∎ Ensure integrity of the Technician who seal the sample using the Red Seal lock along with the PPS comments and measurement report
∎ Guide Technicians or lead in addressing technical issues & provide advice and guidance to vendors.
∎ Manage & control FIT / PPS approval/fail rate
∎ Ensure Technicians collaborate with the merchandising team to achieve on time delivery.
∎ Ensure sample quality meet brand's aesthetic standards
∎ Oversee and use information provided on log book containing sample approval history-sample turn time & US approval lead time
∎ Collaborate with Snr. Director Quality &Technical Support for Far East to create block patterns.
∎ Meet with General Manager or MD of the office on a routine basis to give updates of what is happening in Technical & QA areas
∎ Facilitate or lead in conducting vendor workshops for particular items.
∎ Provide guidance & direction to reduce sample approval turn-around time.
∎ Simplify the sewing process by providing recommendations by way of sending mock-ups to US office for approval to save time
∎ Responsible for Dhaka and Chittagong QC teams who work in the field controlling quality of PEI.
∎ Ensure pre-production meetings of critical styles done with factory management so that additional in-put can be given besides that is given by the station QC
∎ Conduct fty visits for mgmt audit of product in addition to ones done by station QC so that QC/QA & managers can observe and understand the existing quality standards at the factory
∎ Conduct Technical Assessments for all vendors and issue CAR and follow up for continuous improvement in samples rooms
∎ Conduct annual and bi-annual appraisals for Technical associates in conjunction with Mgr for associates so that they understand where they stand with regards to achieving goals, while also being responsible to initiate the issuance of warning letters to associates who are considered to be under performing.
∎ Work in tandem with merchandising teams and QA Manager to share views regarding performance of each factory
∎ Report to VP QA on a monthly basis all data and statistics required in a timely manner

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Experienced in Snr.Mgmt capacity leading Technical / QC Department in a factory or buying office.
∎ Knowledge and experience in pattern making and adjustment
∎ Knowledge in pattern grading
∎ Knowledge in marker making will be advantageous
∎ Ability to read and interpret technical package
∎ Ability to fit garments on live person or mannequin and make recommendation for fit and construction improvement
∎ Able to conduct training for vendor and internal technical/QA staff in classroom set up as well as through video conferencing
∎ Able to use all Microsoft or Google programs
∎ Able to write and communicate fluently in English if direct communication is involved with the US.
∎ Able to multitask and have strong problem solving skills
