Educational Requirements:
∎ Professional education Bachelor/Master's degree in Textile/ preferably Diploma in Apparel marketing & Merchandising
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Chief Country Representative will be responsible for legal representative and leader for the country.
∎ Drive a production team with both direct and indirect reports. Ensure a sustainable platform to enable development in the country, short and long term.
∎ Be overall responsible for production Governance and operations.
∎ Set the long and short -term country goals together with the team and monitor them to ensure good results
∎ Respect and drive values, code of Ethics, office security and safety, as well as other company regulated standards & requirements in all teams
∎ Plan and provide for future talent needs and challenges of the country through talent identification, performance management, staff development, engagement and succession planning.
∎ Ensure strong cooperation with Overseas office Management team, sourcing team as well as other global functions
∎ Ensure that suppliers understand how does business in the country and respect values, Code of Ethics, CSR requirements and standards.
∎ Have a good market overview; recognize market's potential make decisions for the short/long term strategies in the country.
∎ Drive operational efficiency by setting and managing the budget for the country organization, general office costs and country specific costs.
∎ Your responsibility is to lead your team by example, always driven by our values and the ambition to make people and business grow.
∎ As a leader you should focus on inspiration, delegation, feedback and motivation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 10-15 years experience in a similar position in any foreign buying house.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, including people-management, leadership and both written and verbal communication skills.
∎ General operational management experience
∎ Excellent written and spoken English
∎ Extensive knowledge of production Management processes and regional suppliers for tier.
∎ Ability to manage production and supply chain-related challenges.
