Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strategize & develop implementation plans to maintain a quality plan that ensures the Company’s Quality Assurance Systems & Policies are aligned with compliance and quality system requirements.
∎ Maintaining process wise, product wise, production quality plan and check list, QA scorecards, to bring company's Quality Management Systems and Policies into practice.
∎ Work closely with quality & production managers, Production Planning & Control and Merchandising to ensure proper system, controls and test protocols are in place to assure the buyer specifications are implemented and the product meets or exceed customer expectations.
∎ Monitors and analyze production processes and quality standards based on indices like CPM, Process loss of material, control, first pass yield, defects per hundred units, etc. Organize PP meeting, cutting permissions, inspections, reporting & record keeping with the team members.
∎ Works with Production/ Operation Heads of each unit in improving overall production effectiveness while managing RQS, GPQ, OQL, etc.
∎ Devising strategies and maintaining routines of the Internal and External Chemical, technical Testing or laboratory and Dyeing process for assuring Quality checks are in place from Raw material till entire quality process chain and is consistently maintained according to the Buyer’s specifications.
∎ Ensuring the New Samples/ Product meets the end customer/user expectations. Run pilot projects and ensure zero defect deliveries.
∎ Investigate customer complaints to improve product quality and finding the root cause behind the problem.
∎ Collaborate with other Department and functional Heads to develop new product and engineering designs, and manufacturing methods.
∎ Assessment of quality improvement, operational efficiency, resource optimization, etc.
∎ Ensure the needed quality requirements are maintained throughout the production processes strictly following the buyer specifications.
∎ Checking cutting, sewing, and finishing in-process quality control indices and report to the management.
∎ Monitored QA/QC performance by gathering relevant production data and producing statistical reports to be communicated with all related departments. Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training.
∎ Design quality plan i.e. design the quality parameters of basic raw materials (for example, fiber, quality for yarn, yarn quality for fabric, grey quality for fabric, grey fabric quality for finished fabrics etc).
∎ Supervise External and Internal Audit in paritltimate responsible person for factory quality controlling process from buyer end.
∎ Ensure implementation and execution of the SOPs, ISO 9000 and lean management through Quality Parameters and principle and regular updating of quality documentation.
