Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for achieving daily production targets with buyer quality standards and also direct and coordinating sewing in accordance with the planned production schedule.
∎ Formulate work schedules for the production team and communicate expected deliverables to achieve the production targets and objectives.
∎ Efficiently utilizing manpower, high-performance machineries & material to meet production targets
∎ Exhibit knowledge of layout planning, and production process management while maintaining production schedule to adhere to shipment timelines.
∎ Track the defined KPIs to have a complete view of the production activities and take appropriate corrective actions to ensure adherence to the plan.
∎ To Maintain and improve the man-machine ratio, increase the cut to ship ratio and line feeding to packing.
∎ Ensure the final product is as per buyers’ requirements and specification.
∎ Responsible for reporting production cost, maintenance, consumption, monthly stock, headcount, man-hour, quality and safety for effective decision making by management.
∎ Ensure cost reduction by reducing all kinds of production wastage like rejection, alteration, overcutting, overproduction and extra hours of work.
∎ Identify development opportunities (skill development training, technical training requirements) for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Operational Team for improving the overall production standards.
∎ Manage all tasks for smooth production, final inspection pass, and on-time shipment.
∎ Order status monitoring & regularly scheduled meetings with merchandising & marketing for order planning.
∎ Establish the highest level of discipline on production floors.
∎ Ensure proper housekeeping on production floors.
∎ Should have to able to ensure line balancing as per layout, time, and motion study for all styles.
∎ Communicate with top management directly when need any issues to arise.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 38 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skill.
∎ Excellent Communication skills in both English and Bengali.
∎ Good knowledge & skills in computing.
∎ Sufficient knowledge in 5s, 6 sigma, lean management & other productivity enhancement tools & techniques.
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time frame.
∎ Needs to have Strong knowledge/understanding of Planning.
∎ Positive work ethics and result-oriented for assigned responsibilities;
∎ Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives;
∎ Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good teamwork;
∎ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
