Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Masters in any discipline with no third division in academic records.
∎ Candidates pursuing investment professional degree like Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) will be given preference.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To manage the company's proprietary portfolio to generate sustainable return on a risk adjusted manner
∎ To oversee the research team to identify the prospective securities and cater the clients' investment needs
∎ To supervise, lead and evaluate the performance of Sales/ Relationship managers to meet the business goal
∎ To prepare a list of approved marginable securities to disburse margin loan to the clients
∎ Manage discretionary portfolios and any other retail and institutional fund as and when required
∎ To implement a strong monitoring and controlling system to ensure compliance of daily trading activities and margin loan ratio of the clients as per the BSEC's guideline and the company's policy
∎ To oversee and monitor excess buy, negative and positive equity, purchase power limit, broker wise netting etc.
∎ To maintain liaison with enlisted brokerage houses regarding the services rendered by them and monitor traders of the panel brokers
∎ Develop business of the merchant bank by bringing new clients and other prospects in the field of primary market

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7 (Seven) Years' experience in the relevant area
∎ In-Depth Knowledge in all business functions of a Merchant Bank
∎ Good at numbers and financial planning
∎ Smart, Team player, paired with agile mindset and can-do attitude
∎ Good communication skill in Bangla and English
∎ Very good skills in MS Office
