B.Sc. in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering from a reputed institution.
12–15 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, plant setup, and operations management, preferably in consumer durables/electrical products.
Proven expertise in greenfield projects, project management, and new business setup.
Additional certifications such as PGDSCM / Lean / Six Sigma will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities & Context:
Lead the greenfield project for Fan Plant setup from concept to commissioning.
Design and implement factory layout, workflow, and process design.
Select, install, and operationalize machinery, equipment, and utilities.
Establish vendor networks and develop a robust supply chain capability.
Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations of the Fan Division.
Ensure production targets, delivery timelines, and cost efficiencies are achieved.
Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and other process improvement initiatives.
Optimize plant resources to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
Maintain strict adherence to product quality standards and specifications.
Develop and maintain quality control systems and ensure compliance with ISO, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing workforce.
Manage, guide, and motivate cross-functional teams while fostering discipline, accountability, and leadership development.
