Responsibilities & Context:
∎ We are looking for competent personnel for the post of "Head of Planning" for a reputed woven textile manufacturer. The incumbent must have initiative, experience & the drive to deliver high-quality results.
∎ Develop and implement comprehensive production plans aligned with sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
∎ Create detailed schedules and timelines for manufacturing operations to meet delivery deadlines.
∎ Liaison with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to align production plans with customer demand and market trends.
∎ Monitor production output and adjust plans as necessary to optimize resource utilization, manpower utilization, cost optimization and minimize downtime.
∎ Lead a team of planners and coordinators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
∎ Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment to achieve production goals as planned.
∎ Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to manage raw material and finished goods inventory levels.
∎ Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and ensure adequate stock availability.
∎ Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure products meet established quality standards and customer specifications.
∎ Communicate production schedules and updates effectively across departments to ensure seamless workflow and coordination.
∎ Any other task as assigned by the management.
