Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for total marketing and merchandising department for multiple accounts.
∎ Must have the ability to understand current market trends and buying psychology. Must be
∎ Capable of planning, marketing of Knit garments from foreign buyers.
∎ Should be capable of new business development & promotion with fresh Buyer
∎ Ensure collection of order from buyer/buying house directly.
∎ Have to be an expert on European based Marketing
∎ Have to bring customers those who are ready to take the local fabric
∎ Must be skilled in costing, production planning, and having vast technical knowledge of products.
∎ To meet the objectives and targets of the Marketing & Merchandising department
∎ To develop strategies using various marketing techniques to increase sales.
∎ The candidate must have sound knowledge on all types of garment fabrics, yarn, trims and accessories.
∎ Play a significant role in long-term business planning, including an initiative geared toward business excellence.
∎ Oversee and do costing and pricing of the garment and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
∎ Overseeing the update on production status, sampling, lab dips information being provided by the merchandisers to the buyer.
∎ Monitoring the status of approval / per-production / photo samples/garments delivery.
∎ Strong ability to follow up supply chain/backward linkage management
∎ Proper execution of orders according to planned Time and Action Plan on regular basis to ensure on time shipment with right quality and quantity.
∎ To follow up with planning/production/commercial team & ensure shipment move on time.
∎ Any Special task/assignment as required for the position as given by the Company Management.
∎ Should be a visionary Leader of a Marketing & Merchandising Team handling multiple accounts and variety of products in knit garments business.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The incumbent should be dynamic, well organized, self driven & have good personality to lead a Merchandising team.
∎ Should be able to work under pressure.
∎ Excellent communication skill in English is mandatory.
∎ Computer literacy is a must.
∎ The candidates who visited abroad (US, UK, Canada, Australia and Mostly European Countries) for business / Marketing purpose will be given preference.
