Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and lead the overall marketing, merchandising and business development strategy;
∎ Communicate with buyer for cost calculation, price negotiation, order procurement, correspondence, liaison etc. and also correspond with buyer for the feedback of the price, sample & capacity/space booking.
∎ To oversee costing and pricing of the garments and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
∎ Determine appropriate price quotations to ensure sales order and maintain profitability.
∎ Executions of orders according to planned time and action plan on regular basis to ensure the shipment with right quality and right quantity.
∎ Monitoring overall activities of suppliers, commercial, shipping, quality checking of goods, etc. to ensure smooth production and shipment.
∎ To ensure end to end product life-cycle right from conceptualization, design and manufacturing to delivery.
∎ Create innovative and fresh ideas constantly to meet season/fashion trend and market requirements.
∎ Oversee the design & development team to make them competent as per fashion trend.
∎ Playing a significant role in long-term planning, including operational excellence.
∎ Identifying potential delay causing situations that will lead to challenges in meeting basic KPI's; On-time delivery, order fulfillment, adherence to AQL and monitor overall merchandising team KPI.
∎ Any other task as assigned by the Management from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 38 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Competent in handling multiple accounts and variety of products in garments business;
∎ Strong command over supply chain management;
∎ Competent in garment fabrics, yarn, trims and accessories;
∎ Positive work ethics and result-oriented for assigned responsibilities;
∎ Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skill;
∎ Excellent Communication skills in both English and Bengali;
∎ Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives;
∎ Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good teamwork.
