Educational Requirements:
∎ Post-Graduation in any discipline preferably commerce/business background with excellent academic record from reputed universities and no third division/class or equivalent CGPA in academic career.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 20 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Directing, supervising and monitoring overall functions of the Division
∎ Overall supervision and monitoring of international trade and foreign exchange operations of the bank through bank's Authorized dealer (AD) Branches, Centralized Trade Operations Department (CTOD) and Off-shore Banking Unit (OBU) of the bank.
∎ Maintenance of Correspondent Banking Relationship (both local and overseas operations) and Bangladesh Bank for smooth trade finance, foreign exchange and guarantee related businesses of the bank
∎ To adopt strategies in terms of trade finance and assist management for further strengthening bank's image & profile in international arena.
∎ Supervision of Export development fund (EDF) and cash Incentive Claims to Bangladesh Bank
∎ To minimize the cost of doing international business and maximize income from foreign trade & foreign exchange related business.
∎ Formulate strategies, policies & processes ensuring maximum possible benefits from foreign correspondents
∎ Effective Forex management with meticulous compliance and regulatory requirements.
∎ Make effective liaison with foreign correspondents for smooth business relationship and to explore new business.
∎ Keep effective contacts & liaison with concerned Divisions of Bangladesh Bank and other regulatory bodies.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 20 years banking experience with at least 8 years experience in International Division/ Foreign Exchange Division in any scheduled commercial Bank as Head/Deputy Head of the Division
∎ Must have mastering knowledge in Foreign Exchange operations
∎ Hands on experience in correspondent banking, Off-shore banking operations, arrangement of foreign credit lines and maintain effective relationship with IFC, ADB, IDB etc.
∎ Thorough knowledge and understanding of international trade, foreign currency transactions trade finance, AML & CFT issues, SWIFT operations, banking rules/regulations etc.
∎ Exceptional track records in foreign trade with excellent management & leadership skills.
∎ Strong inter-personal, communication and presentation skill
∎ Strong IT knowledge and good command over Microsoft Word, Excel and Power-point.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and very good people dealings with positive attitude.
∎ Age, Experience, and Educational Qualification may be relaxed for really deserving candidates
