• B.Sc in CSE with proven experience in IT leadership roles with a strong background in digital transformation.

• 10+ years in technology leadership, in a well-established information technology related organization with a fair experience in manufacturing industry

• Preferably 5+ years in AI/ML-driven roles.

• Experience working with manufacturing or corporate IT operations is preferred.

• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

• Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).Strong leadership, problem-solving, and strategic vision in AI. 

Job Context: We are seeking a Group head of IT to lead the digital transformation of our manufacturing and corporate operations. This is a leadership role requiring expertise in IT strategy, AI integration, cloud migration, process automation, and system integration. The Group head of IT will report directly to the Managing Director and oversee all IT-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Transformation & Process Optimization

• Lead the digitization of workflows and business processes to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify inefficiencies and implement digital solutions.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration between tech, product, and business teams.
• Represent the company in tech conferences, investor meetings, and partnerships.
• Foster R&D collaborations with universities and research institutions.
• Support the leadership team in AI-driven business growth strategies.
• Stay ahead of emerging AI trends and competitive advancements

 Cloud Migration & Data Storage Standardization

• Oversee the transition to an office collaboration platform, ensuring operational continuity.
• Manage the digitization and secure migration of paper archives to cloud-based storage.
• Develop standardized data storage protocols, including naming conventions, metadata tagging, and accessibility rules.

Project & Task Management Implementation

• Identify and deploy project management tools to track tasks, resource usage, and team accountability.
• Develop workflows and provide periodic performance reports.

Employee Training & IT Support Systems

• Lead training programs to ensure employees effectively use digital tools and IT systems.
• Implement an IT support ticketing system for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Build and mentor a high-performing AI & engineering team.

Performance Review & HR System Integration

• Work with HR to implement performance review systems and KPI tracking.
• Ensure seamless integration of performance management tools with existing IT platforms.

Factory Process Optimization & Software Development Oversight

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and implement technology-driven improvements.
• Manage the software development team working on a consumer-facing product.
• Develop and execute the company's AI & technology strategy.
• Lead AI/ML research, model development, and deployment.
• Oversee data strategy, pipelines, and ML ,Ops best practices.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency of AI-driven products.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) for AI workloads.
• Drive automation and process improvements using AI.
• Align AI initiatives with business goals and customer needs.

IT Governance & System Audits

• Conduct regular audits of IT systems to assess security, efficiency, and compliance.
• Implement continuous improvement strategies based on audit findings
• Implement AI governance, ethics, and compliance (GDPR, AI Act, etc.).
• Ensure cybersecurity and data privacy in AI models and applications.
