Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Coordinate and facilitate social, technical, and environmental audits (e.g., BSCI, SEDEX, BETTER WORK, SLCP, WRAP, GOTS, HIGG FEM, ISO, ACCORD/RSC, etc.)
∎ Monitor compliance with local labor laws and international buyer standards.
∎ Follow up on CAPs (Corrective Action Plans) and ensure timely closures.
∎ Conduct factory visits and internal assessments to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
∎ Build strong relationships with factories to support continuous improvement in compliance and CSR standards.
∎ Provide training and awareness sessions to factory management and workers on social compliance and CSR topics.
∎ Report regularly to the UK head office with updates, risks, and action plans.
∎ About Us: We are a UK-based apparel liaison office operating in Bangladesh, currently collaborating with 18 reputable apparel manufacturers. We are committed to ethical sourcing, social responsibility, and sustainable manufacturing practices.
∎ Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and experienced CSR & Compliance Officer to join our Bangladesh office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all compliance, social audits, and CSR initiatives across our partner factories.
