In line with the strategy, the Bank is looking for talented, dedicated and experienced professional(s) for the position of Head of Credit Administration Department (CAD). The individuals who fulfill the basic-eligibility criteria below may apply:
Position Details:
Rank: Senior Vice President (SVP) to Executive Vice President (EVP).
Location: Head Office, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire functions of CAD, ensuring compliance with bank policies, regulatory guidelines, and best practices. Monitor credit portfolio quality, risk assessment, and post-disbursement supervision.
Ensure that the department follows the process as defined in the SOP/credit policy, product programs and regulatory guidelines. Implement robust credit monitoring mechanisms to minimize NPL and enhance portfolio quality.
Reviewing disbursement conditions for each loan facility (lending agreement, collateral agreement, registration of collateral, other loan granting conditions stipulated in the Credit Policy and Product Programs)
Ensure that the loans are booked in the core banking system (CBS) as per approved specifications and ensure that transactions are completed appropriately and updated in the systems.
Ensure that Safe-keep and archive lending files including legal documentation. Conduct daily monitoring of credit policy and product program deviations.
Act as a coordinator for credit risk matters internally and externally for the proper implementation of credit activity and controls. Monitor the approvals of credit requests and follow up on credit approval conditions (collaterals, insurance and other financial/non-financial covenants) - coordinate with RMs/Branch Managers for fulfilment.
Anticipate and remediate potential systems issues that may create data integrity issues. Build and own a quality assurance process to ensure the data owned by the Bank is accurate at approval and is maintained for term of the relationship.
Builds and maintains strong and effective relationships with cross-functional teams consisting of loan product sales, relationship management, operations, IT, and compliance to ensure data quality. In advance notify the relevant RMs on facilities/insurance expiry and seek updated documents.
Maintain highest standards of professional conduct, ethics and integrity in the provision of services in CAD. Lead and mentor a high-performing team to achieve operational excellence.
Ensure proper documentation, security perfection, and collateral management. Supervise loan disbursements, covenants monitoring, and compliance with terms & conditions/Terms of References (ToRs). Coordinate with Credit Risk Management, Business Units, and Internal Control teams.
Promoting honest and responsible behavior across the bank by following ethical codes and anti-corruption rules. Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory reporting. Ensure all activities are in line with local laws, regulations, and internal credit policies.
