∎ Develop and implement business strategies to achieve the unit's short-term and long-term goals.
∎ Identify new market opportunities and expand the business unit's global footprint.
∎ Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
∎ Oversee the entire supply chain, from sourcing to delivery, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
∎ Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and quality standards.
∎ Implement best practices in production, logistics, and distribution to enhance productivity.
∎ Prepare and manage the business unit's budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
∎ Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
∎ Optimize resource allocation to maximize profitability.
∎ Ensure the highest standards of quality control throughout the production and export process.
∎ Develop and implement quality assurance programs and protocols.
∎ Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients and partners.
∎ Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the business unit's products.
∎ Coordinate with Clearing and Forwarding (C&F) agents to ensure smooth customs clearance and timely shipment of products.
∎ Monitor and manage C&F agent performance, ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
∎ Resolve any issues related to customs, shipping, and documentation promptly.
∎ Edison Technologies is launching a new venture in the frozen fish export industry and is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead Frozen Fish Business Unit.
