Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Designing and developing new hardware:
∎ This involves creating schematics and designs for computer equipment, as well as testing and analyzing the performance of those designs.
∎ Overseeing the manufacturing process:
∎ This includes ensuring that hardware components are produced to meet design specifications and quality standards.
∎ Troubleshooting and maintaining existing systems:
∎ Hardware engineers are also involved in troubleshooting and maintaining existing computer systems, ensuring they function correctly and are updated to work with new software.
∎ Collaborating with other teams:
∎ They often work with software developers, product managers, and other engineers to ensure that hardware and software are compatible and meet user needs.
