Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Report to GM & Head of ICT Division

∎ Server:
∎ Server administrators need a blend of technical and soft skills, including proficiency in operating systems, networking, security, scripting, and problem-solving, along with strong communication and organizational abilities.
∎ Operating Systems: In-depth knowledge of Linux (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu) and Windows Server, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
∎ Networking: Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs, and other network protocols.
∎ Security: Expertise in implementing and maintaining server security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability assessments.
∎ Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell to automate tasks and streamline server management.
∎ Virtualization: Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
∎ Databases: Knowledge of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and their administration.
∎ Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
