Job Responsibilities:
∎ Roles and responsibilities are not confine with the following write up rather any other roles can be assign as per the requirement of organization and under the guidance of supervisor.
∎ Key Result #1: Government permits compliance
∎ Responsible for preparing all the necessary documents for application of government permits.
∎ Responsible for obtain of permit and approval of project activities from relevant authority.
∎ Track and monitor relevant expiry dates of all legal documents of JRRP and ensure that all time-sensitive documents and licenses are renewed ahead of deadline to ensure compliance and avoid delays and government complaints.
∎ Maintain an up to date knowledge of the requirements of all relevant Government entities.
∎ Ensure that the JRRP is fully aware of any relevant amendments or revisions to new or existing registrations, laws, rules, regulations, procedures or protocols made in relevance to the Rohingya programs. Communicate this information in a clear, coherent and timely manner to all relevant leaders within the JRRP.
∎ Ensure that management receive appropriate information regarding visa, FD7 process, and any legal permit required by the authority.
∎ Key Result #2: Government Liaison point person
∎ Be a focal to communicate with all relevant government authority in regard to government authority permits and approvals.
∎ Be a focal to coordinate within FH lead to communicate with all relevant government authority.
∎ Coach and coordinate all the facilities/office/sub office lead in establish and maintain positive relationships with government authority.
∎ Ensure all legal document are in place and are updated in a timely manner.
∎ Ensure all reporting and documentation related documents to the government and for future references.
∎ Timely and accurate reporting of all feedback communication between the authority and the management.
∎ Key Result #3: Effective government relationships
∎ Play an advisory role of JRRP and support management in government relationships including working with the Security Manager to advise all leads in the field on the need to develop and/or revise policies, procedures, reports, and practice to address risks in relation to the government related issues.
∎ Coordinate and monitor all Government Relations activity across Cox's Bazar. Remain informed of status, actions needed and resolutions, and identify areas where further corrective action/strategies are needed to continually improve and enhance JRRP's government relations processes.
∎ Maintain strong working relationships with Regulators, Authorities and local Ministries to ensure access to effective and prompt support and advice when needed. Ensure any interactions with government bodies are conducted in the best interests of the JRRP and represent the JRRP in a professional manner at all times.
∎ Coordinate relevant Heads of Department and field lead to establish and maintain relationships, and communicate relevant information with the authority in a regular basis.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 60 years
∎ At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role

∎ Demonstrated computer operating skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products;
∎ Google platform, and virtual technologies such as Skype and / or GoToMeeting;
∎ Medical fitness to live and travel in rural and urban areas with extreme conditions and limited medical support;
∎ Language: Proficiency in spoken and written Bengali and English. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
