Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Planning of production floor: Production planning for each line (Manpower, machine and style) Material planning and machinery planning is done or reviewed by him. He will ensure and plan shipment dispatch on time with necessary documentation through shipping and commercial department.
∎ Shipment planning and shipments: Ensure shipment date is getting meet as per plan and agreed date to management.
∎ Style allocation: Based on available capacity, product categories he need to allocate styles in different line. In case own factory capacity is less than required one, he transfers orders to other factories for job work to ensure the monthly loading target get hit.
∎ Involvement in pp meetings: attends pre-production meeting and ensure that important points are discussed at meeting.
∎ Production monitoring: follow up day to day production from each line and section and ensures that production units meet the production target as per monthly production loading and shipment plan.
∎ Quality of the finished product: He ensures that factory produces quality product at minimum alteration and repair cost. He ensures that only quality goods are shipped to the buyers.
∎ Looking after job work: (such as Washing, printing, embroidery, outsourcing.) and taking decision on selection vendors for various job work.
∎ Discussion: With other internal team members (like merchants, fabric manager, and quality manager, cutting team, planning, IE team & store) for smooth and efficient production.
∎ Production Control: Giving instruction to the line supervisors, and ensure each supervisor is meeting the target of the day and hitting individual line loading plan, Line performance analysis (efficiency, man to machine ratio, cost/pieces) and plan for continuous improvement.
∎ Budget control: Get the production done within the approved manpower and overtime budget.
