Responsibilities & Context:

BD Designs Private Limited a reputed 100% foreign owned apparel manufacturing company located at KEPZ, North patenga , Chattogram is looking for a GM (HR , Admin & compliance) for new factory at CEPZ.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with the company`s overall business objectives and values. 

  • Manage payroll processing, ensure timely salary disbursement, and oversee compensation and benefits administration. 

  • Identify training needs, develop programs, and monitor continuous learning opportunities for employees to ensure growth and skill development. 

  • Oversee and manage administrative functions, including the maintenance of office supplies, equipment, and general office facilities. 

  • Liaise with local government authorities, police, and other regulatory bodies as needed. 

  • Monitor and manage various compliance matter certifications, such as BSCI, SEDEX, and OEKO-Tex, handling audits related to these standards.

  • Experience with RSC, Higg and others compliance portal.

  • Implement safety measures, train employees on health and safety awareness, and ensure the factory environment adheres to health and safety requirements.

  • Work with senior leadership to align all HR and administrative initiatives with the organization`s overall goals. 

  • Lead, review and ensure implementation of the HR’s functional strategies in line with the business strategies.
