Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2–4 years’ experience as a General Store Keeper
- Experience in textile factory or manufacturing industry preferred
Skills & Competencies:
- Knowledge of store SOP, bin card, and inventory control system
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, inventory software)
- Good documentation and record-keeping ability
- Honest, organized, and responsible attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with multiple departments
Responsibilities & Context:
Rocky Group is a reputed textile manufacturing group engaged in Knit Dyeing and Woven Fabric Local Dyeing & Printing for export and local markets. To ensure effective control of general inventory and smooth store operations, we are looking for a responsible and experienced General Store Keeper.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, check, and store general items (spare parts, chemicals accessories, packing materials, stationery, tools, etc.)
- Verify materials with challan, PO, and specifications before receiving
- Maintain proper stock records (Bin Card, Stock Register, ERP/Excel)
- Issue materials to departments against approved requisition (GIN)
- Ensure FIFO method and proper item-wise location control
- Monitor minimum stock level and inform management for re-ordering
- Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged items
- Prepare daily issue reports and monthly stock statements
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and discipline in the general store
- Support internal and external audit requirements
