Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering, Master of Science (MSc)

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Should have an excellent Production Management capability.
∎ Responsible for effective Production planning.
∎ Follow up floors for effectively planning implementation.
∎ Order status monitoring & regular schedule meeting with merchandising & marketing for order planning.
∎ Building relationship with Merchandising department & production people for smooth operation.
∎ Ensure the accurate & optimal capacity planning, while ensuring cost reduction & increased profitability.
∎ Manage production planning staff and scheduling of raw material to meet production schedules.
∎ Always be updated on production status whether it is meeting the production plan or not, if not then make a route cause analysis and give quick solution for a smooth operation.
∎ Close relationship with operational teams to ensure on time delivery of products & optimal utilization of equipment & manpower.
∎ Reviewing production plan with capacity & strength along with ensuring timely shipment target.
∎ Analyze and evaluation of production plans and present operational performances.
∎ Able to make the advancement of planning software.
∎ Prepare master schedule to establish production sequence and lead time of each production to meet shipment.
∎ Prepare and follow up sampling, pre-production activities, cutting, sewing, and finishing according to plan.
∎ Prepare a plans and schedules workflow for each department.
∎ To give the guidance of production workers production planner makes a plan sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations.
∎ Work to implement planning and reduce plan vs. actual gap.
∎ Any others tasks assigned by the management from time to time.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in any reputed Knit composite garment factory(s) out of which minimum 5 years as DGM / GM Planning (Dept. Planning) Position.
∎ Strong leadership, team management, problem solving and multi-tasking skill.
∎ Must have the ability to supervise and inspire team members.
∎ Good Communication skills in both English and Bengali.
∎ Good knowledge & skills in computing along with other related software .
∎ Strong technical knowledge in Planning & it's SOP.
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame.
∎ Good inter-personal & communication skills.
∎ Needs to have Strong knowledge/understanding of Planning.
∎ Should have capacity of planning for 150 lines .
