Develop & Implement Vendor Risk Management Strategy:

• Assist from a risk perspective to design and implement a robust VRM strategy aligned with the organization`s risk appetite and regulatory requirements as well as to establish a comprehensive vendor risk assessment framework to evaluate potential and existing vendors across various risk categories (financial, operational, reputational, etc.).

• Accommodate to develop and oversee the vendor due diligence process, including background checks, financial analysis, and security assessments as well as define risk mitigation strategies for identified vendor risks, including contract negotiation, ongoing monitoring, and performance reviews from a risk perspective.

Manage Partner & Vendor Relationships:

• Cooperate to build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and vendors, fostering collaboration and open communication along with negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, ensuring alignment with risk mitigation strategies and organizational best practices from a risk perspective

• Assist from a risk perspective to oversee the onboarding process for new vendors, ensuring compliance with VRM policies and procedures.

• Contribute to develop and implement a vendor performance management program to monitor vendor adherence to contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs) as well as manage vendor escalations and resolve issues related to performance, compliance, or security concerns from a risk perspective.

Lead & Develop VRM Team:

• Support in recruitment, development, and management of a high-performing VRM team with expertise in risk assessment, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management and to provide strategic direction and leadership to the VRM team, fostering a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk management from a risk perspective.

• Support to establish clear performance metrics for the VRM team and monitor progress towards achieving strategic objectives in terms of risk management.

• Facilitating to ensure team members receive ongoing training in VRM best practices, relevant regulations, and emerging risk trends.

Reporting & Communication:

• From a risk perspective help to develop and maintain comprehensive VRM reports, providing senior management with insights into vendor risks, mitigation strategies, and overall program effectiveness and communicate VRM policies and procedures to relevant stakeholders within the organization, ensuring awareness and compliance.

• Assist to collaborate with other risk management functions (e.g., operational risk, IT security) to ensure a holistic approach to managing enterprise risks from a risk perspective.
