Job Context:
∎ The applicants should have experience in shipping operation & business Development.
∎ Communication with suppliers , opening L/C, check status of mother vessel, Arrange lighter vessel for discharge and move cargo to factory premises , arrange quick unloading and sailing to sail mother vessel in time. Inland vessel management to run the vessel as per desire and with sea worthy.
Job Responsibilities:

∎ Exercises direct management of shipyard; responsible for the safety program, regulatory compliance, customer relations, production, engineering, estimating, and contracts administration.
∎ Leads the behavioral safety program and ensures full OSHA compliance.
∎ Responsible for meeting budget goals; including revenue, costs, and capital expenditures.
∎ Provides management overview and approval of production schedules, dry-dock schedules, crane operations, and methods of executing major jobs.
∎ Supervises development of commercial ship repair business, including contract language.
∎ Provides direction in scheduling, planning and execution of ship repair and conversion activities. Ensures customer satisfaction and business profitability.
∎ Provides overall shipyard direction related to engineering work and naval architecture.
∎ Approves all engineering work and estimates produced by shipyard staff.
∎ Responsible for the management of facility construction and maintenance.
∎ Ensures property and equipment is appropriately utilized and that adherence to all environmental requirements is maintained.
∎ Assumes responsibility for quality program.
∎ Originates and approves all shipyard/terminal policy decisions.
∎ Prepares shipyard/terminal budget within framework of supporting overall strategic plan, specifically major expenditures.
∎ Formulates sales strategy and approves methods of implementing strategy. Approves all concessions made to customers as a result of price negotiations.
∎ Responsible for all matters of employment including recruiting, training, development, promotion, discipline and termination.
