Experience:

• At least 15 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Clearing and Forwarding (C and F) Companies, Garments, Textile, Buying House, Group of Companies, Garments Accessories, Dyeing Factory

• Graduate from any reputed university. Graduate in Textile Engineering will have preference. 

• At least 15 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Clearing and Forwarding (C and F) Companies, Garments, Textile, Buying House, Group of Companies, Garments Accessories, Dyeing Factory

• Age At least 35 years

• Job Experience: At least 15 year(s) in related field in which 2-3 years as Head of Garments Division in any reputed export-oriented Knit Composite Garments Factory. 
• Strong leadership capability, team management, problem solving and multi-tasking skill.
• Adequate knowledge on fabric and garments manufacturing/production.
• Ability to supervise and inspire team members.
• Good inter-personal & communication skills in both English and Bangla.
• Basic Computer skill and experience in ERP/Software based manufacturing process.

Job Context:

AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd. (AKDL) is a 100% Export Oriented Knit Composite Factory located at Hemayetpur, Savar and a sister concern of AKH Group.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced General Manager (GM) for the Garments Division.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall operation and administration of the Garments Unit.
• Responsible for Production as per the production plan ensuring the quality standard.
• Work for 100% capacity utilization and waste reduction.
• Manage all task for smooth production, final inspection pass and on time shipment.
• Coordinate with all concerned departments for smooth Garments manufacturing. Planning, coordinating and controlling the manufacturing processes.
• Follow up day to day production from each line and ensures that production units meet the production target.
• Plan for training to motivate employees and enrich their knowledge & skill in certain areas bases on training needs.
• Make sure that all necessary resources (man, material & equipment) are available for smooth operation.
• Ensuring adherence to compliance, legal and administrative guidelines.
