Experience:

  • Minimum 20 years tender related experience in a Trading Firm/ Reputed Group of Company/Procurement firm
  • Have experience in tender terms & conditions of PPR, DGDP procurement rules
  • Having experience in leading a team minimum 5 years
  • Fluent in English communication and writing.
  • Solid experience in Letter of Credit, import & export-related and commercial activities
  • Retired Armed Force Officer will be given preference


Responsibilities & Context:

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and track relevant tender opportunities from government and different law enforcement agencies
  • Sourcing of foreign principal on tender basis
  • Lead the team, follow up and report to Managing Director
  • Analyze tender documents and prepare responsive and technically sound bids.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, technical, production, legal, finance) to compile required documentation.
  • Ensure all tenders are submitted accurately, within deadlines, and in compliance with legal and client specifications.
  • Maintain detailed records of bid submissions, award status, and contract terms.
  • Negotiate post-award terms and pricing adjustments where applicable.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings, clarification sessions, and site visits when necessary.
  • Liaise with procurement bodies, corporate clients, and consultants to strengthen future bidding prospects.
  • Prepare reports on tender outcomes, win/loss analysis, and upcoming bidding strategies
