Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee and manage operations of entire office with a view to achieving both Corporate and local Connor Office's business growth and objectives
∎ Drive the business growth through working closely with customers, regional offices, clients of Connor Group, and coordinating with corporate office, in line with the Corporate Management's strategic direction.
∎ Shoulder the local office's Profit & Loss responsibility, in addition, to fulfill Connor's vision and mission.
∎ Promote cross-selling to increase business opportunities.
∎ Plan and carry out strategic sourcing and supplier development and build resources to support the growth of the business.
∎ Keep updated with the market trend in the region and develop sourcing strategies to capture business opportunities and overcome market threats.
∎ Partner with customers closely to understand their needs and translate the needs into practical actions through collaboration with colleagues from different offices.
∎ Communicate closely with clients regarding market influences on business and action relating to problem resolution.
∎ Develop and maintain a commitment to excellence and high service quality to meet the changing business demands to sustain long-term business growth.
∎ Ensure appropriate procedures related to vendor selection, vendor technical strengths and weaknesses, production capacities, and vendor shipment performances are in place.
∎ Prepare annual shipment and expenses budget to ensure continuous growth of business in the responsible region, and thrive to exceed planned shipments, control expenses, and plan manpower efficiently to meet the budget.
∎ Review customer contact activities and ensure customer satisfaction.
∎ Source new factories, pricing, and sampling for customers' buying trips.
∎ Recommend alternative material that achieves the same look and function without increasing costs.
∎ Coordinate with QC/Tech section to ensure that all products routinely and consistently meet acceptable standards required by customers.
∎ Provide technical advice and suggestions to factories based on their performance and areas for improvement.
∎ Identify potential problems with material, product design, and product safety, etc.
∎ Identify improvement areas in construction considering product functions.
∎ Ensure Corporate financial, market, and management reports are accurate and submitted on a timely basis.
∎ Predict and prepare in advance for any changes which may impact sales volume, expenses, profitability, and human resources requirements.
∎ Responsible for merchandising operation in order to meet the profit and volume goals of a business division specified by the Company's strategic business plans.
∎ Monitor team productivity in handling existing business and identifying new suppliers.
∎ Direct and lead subordinates to meet changing business demands for client satisfaction.
∎ Supervise, recruit, train, direct and appraise the performance of the section subordinates.
∎ Perform additional duties as required meeting the Company's objectives.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Tertiary education, preferably in business management, merchandising, global sourcing, or related disciplines.
∎ More than 15 years of experience, of which preferably 10 years at senior management position and in multinational buying offices.
∎ Strong management and leadership skills
∎ Strong analytical and organizational skills
∎ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
∎ Hands-on experience and knowledge of the domestic and international market of merchandise and sourcing industry
∎ In-depth P & L knowledge
∎ Good people management skills
∎ Good problem-solving skills
∎ Immediate availability is highly preferable.
